Select Start ->, Programs ->, Accessories ->, Entertainment ->, and Sound Recorder.
To record a sound, you will need a microphone, sound card, and speakers or headphones.
Steps to Recording a Sound:
- 1. Make sure the microphone is connected to the computer.
- 2. From the File Menu, select New
- 3. To begin recording, click the button with the red circle, and speak into the microphone.
- 4. To stop recording, click the button with the red square.
- 5. To save your recording, select Save or Save As from the File Menu. Select the location where the sound file will be save, type in the filename, and click the Save button.
- 1. From the File menu, select Open.
- 2. Navigate to the folder containing the sound file you want to play.
- 3. Select the sound file, then click Open.
- 4. Click the button with the arrow pointing to the right.
- 5. To stop playing the sound, click the button with the red square.
- 1. Open the previously recorded sound file.
- 2. Then click on the File Menu, and select Properties.
- 3. Select Playback formats from the pull-down menu.
- 4. Click Convert Now.
