We recommend that you use your project folder as the one from which you burn your CDs. This will simplify testing and tweaking.
The most important thing to remember is to not use installers or programs that write to the CD drive, because, of course, the CD drive can be a Read-Only drive.
- Only launch programs that do not write to the CD drive
- If programs or files are in subfolders, you must use relative paths to the program or file
- In the button interface, try to use fonts that you know will be on the end-user's computer
- Make sure that all files called by CDMenu are present in the project folder
- Test the setup on your hard drive first, then test it on a CD to make sure all works as expected
- Don't forget to create your setup files (including autorun.inf) before burning the CD
