CD-ROM Menu Project - Getting Started
On the left side of the screen are nine items that need to be completed to create your finished project. Clicking on each item displays the corresponding screen information. The easiest way to build your project is to complete the information on each screen, then proceed to the next item in the list.

Common Terms
Program:
The WISCO CD Menu Builder program, WiscoCD.exe is the program used to create the project. Program options are stored separately from your project information. The WISCO CD Menu Builder program saves the properly formatted information for your project to use. The WISCO CD Menu Builder program can also create template pages to speed up your development time.

Project:
Information for each project is kept in separate project folders. Each project uses the formatted information in files called wcdmenu.wcd, wcdnotes.wcd, and wcdslide.wcd. Your project can be created in a single file, or be kept as separate files that the end-user can browse.

Command:
A command includes all of the Required and Optional information used by the clickable button, HTML link, or menu item. The command can include the action, caption, graphic filename, status bar hint, program filename, and program parameters (filenames or text messages).
