The button interface uses a structured interface with up to 12 buttons and 5 menu choices. Each button can be linked to an HTML FlyOver page that provides additional information to the end user. The header can include a clickable logo URL. Customization of the project interface makes it very easy to have a standardized look to all company CDs and easier navigation for the end user.
Adding and removing the check boxes will change the project preview displayed on the tabbed page. The project colors, buttons, and fonts can also be changed and viewed on the preview screen.
Text entered in the Project Header edit box is displayed next to the project logo. The check box should also be marked to use the project header panel. If Small Header is checked, the height of the header panel is reduced. This allows more room for the buttons and HTML FlyOver pages.
A project logo is placed on the left side of the header panel. If small header is checked, the expected project logo should be a 32 pixel height by 32 pixel width area. If Small Header is unchecked, a 64 by 64 pixel graphic can be used. Click the browse button, and find your project logo (BMP or JPEG graphic) that you want to appear in the header. Selecting the file, and clicking the graphic filename will copy the file to the project folder, and also enter the filename in the logo edit box. The check box should also be marked for "Use Logo". If the check box for "Transparent" is marked, the panel color will show through the background of the bitmap. If unchecked, the bitmap logo will be opaque. Transparency is not supported by JPEG graphics.
An Internet URL can be visited by the end users browser when the project logo is clicked. Use the button at the end of the "Clickable Logo URL" to verify the web address. The web address must start with http://
If "Use HTML FlyOver Pages" is checked, each button is linked to a separate HTML page. In addition, the project will have an HTML home page with the filename wiscocd.htm. The home page displayed when your project starts. Each FlyOver page uses the prefix bttn, then the button number, then the extension .htm. For example, the filename for the FlyOver page linked to button 1 is bttn1.htm. If disabled, the buttons and captions expand to fill the space used by the FlyOver pages.
If "MouseOver On" is checked, linked HTML FlyOver pages will be displayed when the mouse cursor is moved over the buttons or button caption.
Hints can be displayed in the Project Status bar if "Display Status Bar Hints" is checked.
The initial width of the project HTML FlyOver pages can be set by using the arrow keys to increase or decrease the default percentage of 60%. The button panel of the project screen uses the remaining screen width. "Use HTML FlyOver Pages" must also be checked.
