Autorun CD-ROM Menu - Analyze Project
When the Analyze Menu selection is made, the Analyze button is automatically clicked. When the Analyze Project listing on the left is clicked, the analysis report will be displayed after the Analyze button is clicked.

The analysis displays the project settings, and checks for problems with missing project files, and improper button and menu settings. If WISCO CD Menu Builder thinks there is a problem, that item is highlighted in red. Double click on the report item to go to the screen where you can fix the problem. Assumptions are displayed with a blue font.

Both programs, WISCO CD Menu Builder and CDMenu (for your projects) understand how to find Window's special folders. Special folders include the System Folder {sysDir}, Program Folder {progDir}, and Windows Folder {winDir}. Sometimes, Microsoft changes the location of a program with different operating systems. For example the Calculator program, calc.exe, is located in the system folder of Windows XP, but located in the windows folder in Windows 98. Using {path} allows the CDMenu program to find the program on the end-user's computer, provided the program is located in the end-user's path. When {path} is used, a message is displayed showing the assumption.

Clicking "Analyze Project" in the left side listing will return to the analysis report. You can either click the analyze button again to get an updated report, or continue to check other problems identified by WISCO CD Menu Builder. Continue to clear any problems until all warning messages are gone.

A tutorial is available to help understand this information.
